Secrets of the Masters – Carlson’s Guide to Landscape Painting

Whether you’ve heard of the book or not, this course will guide you through the essential principles of landscape painting for every artist, regardless of medium

all from the comfort of your home.

Maybe you’ve worked on your own, trying to capture the fleeting light.

Perhaps, you’ve heard catchphrases from workshops or videos that were meaningless when you stepped outside.

Or you’ve felt overwhelmed and not sure where to start.

Whether you are a beginning landscape painter, a seasoned studio painter who wants to learn to paint the landscape, or you want to jumpstart your skill-set, this course will set a solid foundation for a lifetime of landscape painting.

In this class, we go to the source of landscape painting with the wisdom from John F. Carlson’s Guide to Landscape Painting. We bypass the outdated language, and go to the heart of landscape painting with practical exercises in a controlled environment, updated materials, modern technology, and some of my favorite tools.

If this is your year to start plein air painting or advance your landscape painting skills, this is the course you want to jumpstart your art journey.
