Nature Journaling – Flowers
$55.00
Experience the magic of flowers, whether you are curious about the flowers in your garden or learning about native wildflowers. We will explore the formation of plant, bud, stem, petals, and reproduction as we draw and seek to understand the inviting colors and textures of plants.
Saturday, August 10th, 9 am -11:30 am
Forest History Center, Grand Rapids, MN
While it is easy to focus on making pretty pictures, we will focus on bringing curiosity to our experience of nature. No drawing or painting skills are required, simply a desire and interest to learn.
Materials: Please bring a notebook (unlined sketchbook), pencil, eraser, and camp chair. Water, sunscreen, hat, and bug spray are also suggested, along with good walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
Optional: colored pencils/watercolor/gouache paints, waterproof ink pen (Micron or Uniball are good options).
I will have extra watercolor sets, colored pencils and markers available for use.
